A guide for you
At Stopgap, we’re upfront and honest about money and it’s something we never fall out about.  We want our candidates to be happy with their deal and you to be happy with yours – yet another example of why our freelance and permanent marketing recruitment offering is Positively Different.    


Stopgap permanent marketing recruitment – fixed rate of 18%

You simply pay 18% of the candidate's gross annual salary, or 16% if the candidate has worked for you as a freelancer for three months or more within the last year. What you can also do, if you’d prefer, is to pay via our unique 'PAYG' option, which allows you to spread the permanent fee over 6 months. And not only that, if a marketer we place with you on a permanent basis leaves, for any reason, within the first 6 months, we’ll rebate the fee proportionately for the time they aren't with you - you can't say fairer than that!

For international placements, whereby we recruit marketers from abroad our fixed rate is 20% of the candidate's gross annual salary.   


Stopgap freelance marketing recruitment – fixed rate of 15%

Stopgap candidates working in freelance marketing jobs work on day rates rather then pro-rata annual salaries.  When a rate is quoted for a freelance marketing job, this is the amount paid to the candidate and our fee goes on top.  If you’re unable to pay a freelance marketer through your payroll, we can pay them through ours.  An 11% payroll administration fee covers OSR payroll tax and Stopgap’s administration.
