The purpose of this role is to deliver clear, consistent communication to key external and internal stakeholders to help develop company reputation as one of Australia's leading, trusted care providers. Working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications, the Communications Manager will develop and implement the external and internal communications strategies.

Focus on external communications strategy will involve:

ยท Focus on establishing the brand by embedding consistent messaging and tone of voice across all written and verbal communications, aligned with the business's strategic pillars.

ยท Develop compelling, accurate and engaging content aligned to different stakeholders including customers (residents and families), referrers, local community, investors, potential employees and the broader public.

ยท Working in collaboration with the Marketing Managers to develop strategic marketing and communications campaigns, acting as 'storyteller' for specific acquisition campaigns including brand, respite and new site campaigns.

ยท Content creation for both traditional and digital communications including newsletters, website, video, EDMs and other assets.

ยท Understanding audience segmentation and research insights, content to be tailored and used across traditional and digital channels, lead development of content and channel strategy to increase brand recognition and strengthen brand positioning and reputation as one of Australia's leading, trusted residential care providers.

ยท Develop communications for external stakeholders, including end of year results, annual report and AGM

ยท Review and advise communications policies and processes to ensure protection and growth of brand reputation.

ยท Delivery of annual content calendar to be fed into multi-channel roll out, including newsletters, website and social media strategy and PR opportunities.

Focus on Internal communications strategy will involve:

ยท Develop key messages in line with strategic pillars and support teams to deliver consistent, compelling communications.

ยท Work in collaboration with other departments to develop communications plans for employee engagement projects (e.g employee engagement surveys, flu season, leadership conference).

ยท Play a key role in employee engagement strategy, working alongside the People and Culture team to identify opportunities to expand on internal communications channels and establish a clear framework for communications within the business, including training of departments on communications and tone of voice.

ยท Establish a content and engagement calendar including suggested activities and initiatives that align with brand and values and improve employee engagement within the organisation.

This amazing role will suit a Communications Specialist with 6+ years' experience in a marketing or corporate communications role. You will have strong experience in digital content writing to support SEO strategy, experience adapting and evolving communications for specific channels including social and website. Above all else, you will be a team player, flexible and adaptable, prepared to be accountable and take ownership of projects. An excellent salary package is on offer.
