Marketing Specialist

Job description

THE COMPANY:
Our client is a well-established fintech business that provides personal and automotive lending solutions to customers across Australia. Operating through both a broker network and direct-to-consumer channels, they are currently looking for a hands-on marketing professional to join the team on an initial 3-month contract and provide support across a range of marketing initiatives.

THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Head of Consumer, this role will support two key areas of the business: Broker & Product Marketing and Customer Lifecycle Campaigns.

This is a highly execution-focused role, perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on, managing campaigns from brief through to delivery, and working across multiple marketing channels.

Broker & Product Marketing:
You will support the broker distribution channel by delivering marketing campaigns and collateral that help drive awareness, engagement and product adoption. The strategy will be set by the internal team, with you taking ownership of the execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and delivering campaigns to support product launches, pricing updates and new feature releases.

  • Managing broker communications across email, print and digital channels.

  • Building and executing email marketing campaigns, customer journeys and automated communications through marketing automation platforms.

  • Creating and maintaining sales and marketing collateral including presentations, brochures, email templates, FAQs and product information sheets.

  • Developing broker-facing content that aligns with the company's brand and tone of voice.

  • Supporting webinars, industry events, exhibitions and broker engagement activities.

  • Monitoring campaign performance and providing regular reporting and insights.

Customer Lifecycle Marketing:
You will also support the delivery of customer retention, refinance and cross-sell campaigns aimed at the company's existing customer base.

Working within established campaign frameworks, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and executing personalised customer communications across email, SMS and other digital channels.

  • Supporting campaign optimisation through A/B testing of messaging, subject lines and calls-to-action.

  • Updating and maintaining automated customer lifecycle journeys and workflows.

  • Monitoring campaign performance and reporting on key engagement and conversion metrics.

  • Ensuring all communications meet compliance and regulatory requirements before deployment.

YOU:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' marketing experience and be confident rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. This role would suit someone who enjoys campaign execution, thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision.

You'll bring:

  • Previous experience in campaign marketing, email marketing, CRM or content-focused roles.

  • Strong hands-on experience delivering marketing activity rather than purely strategic planning.

  • Experience using marketing automation and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Braze, ActiveCampaign, Customer.io or similar.

  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience within financial services, fintech, professional services or other B2B environments would be highly regarded.

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and campaign reporting tools would be advantageous.

If you're immediately available and looking for an exciting 3-month contract where you can make an immediate impact, we'd love to hear from you.
