Things we care about

At Stopgap, we’re committed to charitable giving of both time and money, and we’re always looking for better ways of working in order to support the environment we live in. We do this the Stopgap Way…

For our clients and candidates

We often get involved in raising funds for our wonderful charity clients, from running in the City Mile Dash to the Biggest Morning Tea!

We are proud to be one of the 1200 supporters joining the fight against brain cancer. The 1200 Club is a group of dedicated supporters pledging to reduce the number of brain cancer related deaths and beat brain cancer.

We are also a proud supporter of The FredHollows Foundation. Fred Hollows is working towards a world where no person is unnecessarily blind. For everyone, no matter whether they’re rich or poor, to have the right to high quality and affordable eye care.

As a sign of support, the Stopgap Striders trekked 55kms in March ‘16 as part of the Sydney Coastrek, with all donations going to The Fred Hollows Foundation. We are proud to announce that we raised over $5000!

Stopgap truly believes that supporting a child’s education is the best way to help break the cycle of disadvantage. We're proud to take part in the collection & donation of gifts for disadvantaged children and young people in an effort to support them in achieving their full potential.

For the environment

We are committed to recycling, with colour coded bins in the kitchen, plastic bag dispensers and paper recycling bins too. We shut our computers down at the end of the day and are on our way to becoming a paperless office.

Did you know that more people in the world have mobile phones than toilets? That's crazy, and also why we are proud users of Who Gives a Crap toilet paper and tissue! They donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets for those in need across the Globe. To date they've donated over $1.2 million dollars to charity and saved a heck of a lot of trees, water and energy.
