THE COMPANY:

Our client is an independent, national charity that funds scientific research to find kinder, more effective treatments for every child diagnosed with cancer. They're looking for a Digital Marketing Specialiat to join their busy team.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications the main responsibilities for this role, includes the following:

  • Support the marketing and communications team on developing and executing brand activities, content, and key messaging
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to market the charity, engage the community and generate new revenue streams
  • Lead and manage the website including updating content, reporting analytics, and optimising UX/UI
  • Provide photography and video support at internal and external events for use in social media, website and fundraising collateral
  • Lead and deliver strategic and innovative email marketing campaigns, implementing supporter journeys, automation and optimising for conversion
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and/or external agencies to deliver web designs. Identify site usage pathways and on-page behaviour to understand user journeys on-site
  • Work with Data/IT to segment audiences for targeted communications
  • Collaborate with the Content Specialist to deliver best in class SEO
  • Manage the social media presence including community management, content planning and social listening
  • Work with external agencies on delivering brand and campaign activity

YOU:

  • The ideal candidate will be a great communicator (written and verbal) who is commercially minded and a strategic thinker
  • You will be able to understand how to apply the fundamentals of marketing using digital channels and have demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end campaigns
  • You must be able to optimise the user experience and utilise data to make informed decisions
  • Must be organised and able to prioritise competing deadlines
