THE COMPANY:

Our client is a renowned consumer electronics vendor, offering a diverse range of products to Australian online and retail stores. With a strong presence in the market, they are now looking to expand their team by bringing on board a talented Sales Admin Specialist.

THE ROLE:

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales function and ensuring smooth operations across various teams. Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with logistics, warehousing, buying teams, product compliance, visual merchandisers, and trade marketing to streamline processes.
  • Analyzing sales data and compiling comprehensive reports to inform decision-making.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency across departments.
YOU:

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical skills and a keen understanding of the retail environment. Key qualifications and attributes include:
  • Previous experience in roles such as Buyer, Buyer’s Assistant, Merchandise Planner, Demand Forecaster, or other related product administration positions.
  • Experience working in FMCG, grocery, or general merchandise retailers (e.g., K-Mart, Woolworths, Big W, Aldi, Target) is highly desirable. Experience with distributors or supplying vendors is also valued.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc. Comfort with numbers, reports, and data analysis is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with high-level listening abilities.
  • While experience in consumer electronics is not required, it will be considered an advantage.
