Art Director/Designer

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a dynamic creative agency, based in Melbourne. They deliver creatives that leave a lasting impression on people through high-impact work. They're looking for an Art Director/Designer to join their growing team!

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Senior Art Director the main responsibilities are the following:

• Work on a project from the beginning to set the design & tone of the campaign
• Ensure solutions are effective, ideas are original to ensure best-in-class work
• Be one of the key creative conduits between the brief & the production
• Craft, conceptualise and design work from campaign briefs through to final delivery
• Drive the creative from initial conception through to production & final delivery
• Manage the client approval process. Join meetings & assist with feedback
• Lead creative and visual design outcomes on various client projects and campaigns
• Ideate high-quality visual concepts and craft designs that go above & beyond for the client
• Develop creative concepts, direction & tone
• Update & manage brand guidelines, and ensure these are maintained through all assets
• Develop video and motion graphic social media video assets

YOU:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 - 4 years graphic design experience, ideally from a creative agency
• An understanding of photography, typography, digital/social, print and a knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator CC
• The ability to work on & help evolve a brand's style guide/ look & feel
• You must be able to illustrate & animate (basic) for both the company & client projects
• An understanding of the post-production process & ability to work cohesively with the in-house video editor
• Experience with motion design to ensure a clear, concise template creation process
