Group Account Director - Global Account

We're looking for a world class GAD to join a highly awarded creative/tech agency in Sydney.

You will lead the agency's largest account with a global remit. As part of the agency's leadership team, you will play a critical role in helping to shape the agency's direction, its culture, the team and the quality of the work it makes.

Backed by a global network, this agency sits at the intersection of creativity & innovation. They attract the most creative minds and strategic thinkers, working with their clients to help reshape the future of business.

Your role will be to nurture, build and grow first class client relationships for the agency through excellent leadership of your portfolio. Building confidence and capability within the relationship, and having a positive impact on revenue, for both client and the agency.

What we're looking for:

A proven track record of client development

An experienced strategic thinker

Experienced manager of teams

8+ years professional experience in agency/in-house environment

5+ years of team management and leadership experience

Strong understanding of digital marketing, data & performance marketing, platforms, lifecycle marketing and digital channels (email / social / mobile)

Financially astute and comfortable in commercial conversations

Experienced relationship builder both within and beyond the agency

Passionate about tech and its possibilities

Ability to lead and inspire their team

Proven success in building and sustaining long term relationships internally and externally.

Team player who is prepared to work collaboratively with others to generate the best outcome

Ambitious and driven with the desire to delivery outstanding work
