Marketing Manager - International Arts Festival Season
(Part-Time, 6 Month Fixed Term)
  
Experienced Marketing Manager wanted to deliver bold, creative, high-impact campaigns for an Australian arts organisation at a prestigious global festival in 2026.

The Role:-
  
You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns across print, digital, and social - supporting productions, artists, special events, and overall brand awareness during the international festival season.
  
Working closely with producers, creatives, and media partners, you’ll help grow audiences, drive ticket sales, and support wider audience development objectives.
  
What You’ll Be Doing:-

  • Planning and delivering creative marketing campaigns for theatre productions, artists, and live events

  • Managing print and digital advertising, including Google and paid social

  • Coordinating production of posters, flyers, programmes, and outdoor advertising

  • Writing compelling copy for adverts, e-newsletters, and website content

  • Managing website listings, event pages, and SEO optimisation

  • Collaborating with social media, creative teams, designers, photographers, and media partners

  • Monitoring budgets, timelines, performance metrics, and ROI

  • Supporting artists with guidance on ticket sales, media engagement, and audience growth

  • Analysing audience and ticketing data to inform campaign strategy

  • Overseeing photography and video shoots to build campaign assets

Must have:-

  • Proven experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns (arts, culture, or live events preferred)

  • Strong copywriting and communication skills

  • Solid understanding of print production and digital advertising

  • Confidence across social media and email marketing platforms

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills

  • A genuine passion for theatre, creativity, and engaging audiences

  • Confident working in a fast-paced festival setting where priorities can evolve

  • Flexible to increase availability during peak moments, particularly during the live festival period  

Desirable:-

  • Experience with CRM systems and audience data analysis

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop)

  • Experience with Google Ads and/or Meta Business Suite
