THE COMPANY
Our client is an innovative and fast-growing business in the energy sector, currently undergoing an exciting rebrand. With a focus on battery technology and sustainable energy solutions, the company works with a diverse portfolio of clients including major construction and mining organisations. As they continue to expand, they are now looking for a Marketing Specialist to join their team in a permanent role.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a standalone marketing role where youโll have full ownership and the chance to truly shape the companyโs marketing direction.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the CEO and working with the wider Sales team, youโll be the go-to marketing expert within the business. As the companyโs first in-house marketing hire, youโll play a crucial role in delivering the rebrand, managing agency partners, and developing engaging campaigns across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the marketing function across two brands within the group
Managing the rebrand process, including the redevelopment of the website and marketing assets
Overseeing the execution of integrated campaigns in partnership with a marketing agency (covering strategy, design and implementation)
Coordinating social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and exploring emerging platforms like TikTok and YouTube
Supporting branding and sponsorship activity, including sports sponsorships
Working closely with external and internal stakeholders, including large-scale clients across construction and mining
Identifying opportunities for content creation, campaign development, and growth marketing
Providing regular reporting and insights on campaign performance and customer engagement
Managing brand consistency across all touchpoints
Helping determine which tasks to manage in-house vs via agency partners
YOU
Weโre looking for a hands-on, proactive marketer who is excited by the opportunity to make a real impact.
Youโll ideally have:
2โ3 years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment
A solid grounding in digital marketing, including social media, email campaigns and website content
Experience working with external agencies and managing projects through to delivery
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A can-do attitude, comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team
An interest in the energy, technology, or sustainability sectors would be a bonus, but not essential
Confidence to drive ideas forward and work autonomously, while also being collaborative with internal teams
