New Business Director - Creative Content Agency

We're looking for a "New Business Director" to join an established content and production agency based in Surry Hills. The agency work with some incredible brands across the Corporate, Government and Not for Profit sectors.

Working directly with Brands and Agencies they offer their creative expertise in the ideation, creation, and production of meaningful stories for short and long-form content for use in TV, film, digital and brand experience.

The focus of this role will be to drive new revenue growth across the 'agency' portfolio, so someone that understands the agency landscape and brings a network across creative, advertising and/or media agencies, would be ideal.

They are a progressive agency with a humanistic approach and they have built their culture on the values of trust and transparency. They offer flexible working to their team in the form of reduced hours, part-time, and/or work from home options.

Day to day the role will include;

Identifying, qualifying and securing meetings with prospective clients

Securing briefs and/or opportunities to pitch - converting these

Supporting the internal teams on creative responses to brief

Devising strategies for growth across the agency portfolio

Identifying opportunities from market/industry changes

Forming strategic alliances with other organizations to leverage diverse networks

Working with the marketing team to develop content and tools to support new business development

What we're looking for;

Previous experience working in a senior business development role for a similar organisation - creative agency / production agency /content agency

Proven history of generating new business and achieving revenue growth

A strong network of prospective clients within Australia/beyond

Ambitious and target focused with a drive to succeed

And understanding of content and or/film production would be helpful
