Move over Birkenstocks, here’s a one-style-fits-all sandal that is comfy, looks good, does good and is here in time for summer.
Twodeck is a social enterprise producing handcrafted one style fits all sandals offering customers high quality and comfort. And, through a melding of fashion and philanthropy, Twodeck brand is helping to improve girls' education and children's literacy in Asia and Africa by donating five books for every TD0001 sold to Room to Read Australia.
The handcrafted ‘TD001’, unveiled by the Twodeck brand, is inspired by the standard-issue sandal worn in the British Royal Navy 30 years ago and is set to take this summer’s footwear market by storm. The new, stylish and comfortable ‘TD001’ is available in black and natural leather for men, and blue, black, green, red, yellow and natural leather for women.
We worked closely with Mike in recent months, placing a freelance marketing specialist with Twodeck. We listened to the business needs so that Stopgap could help drive Twodeck into it’s next period of growth and support the brand’s strategy as it heads for success!
What Stopgap really loves about Twodeck is the opportunity to partner with a worthwhile cause to help improve the quality of education in these girls' lives - something we all whole-heartedly support.
“Teaming up with Room to Read Australia mirrors our philosophy on reading whether it is escapism of the every day or a resource to function day to day. This is also why we introduced the Twodeck brand book club, the Ship’s Library, whereby each month the Twodeck team select a book they will dedicate time to read to local kids in the Sydney area."
- Mike Todd, Twodeck founder.
