THE COMPANY:
Our client is a well-established brand in the commercial and retail property market and is looking for a retail marketing specialist to join their busy team.
THE ROLE:
 
Reporting to the Retail Manager for the two assets, the main responsibilities include:
- Visit assets to undertake marketing audits
 - Research and prepare marketing strategy documents
 - Work with the Retail Manager to develop each property's annual marketing budget
 - Build and maintain strong working relationships with retail tenants
 - Use first and third party data to develop a sound understanding of each asset and their customers
 - Engage with internal and external vendors to deliver campaigns and ongoing marketing activities such as social media and event/activation management
 - Devise seasonal and tactical campaigns and build annual campaign calendars
 - Develop and implement retailer support strategies
 - Effectively manage each asset's marketing/placemaking budget
 - Manage work orders and payments for marketing related costs
 - Monthly client reporting
 - Work collaboratively with the Premium Services team
 
YOU:
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing or a similar discipline, with 3+ years experience working in the retail or hospitality sector
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 - The ability to manage a high volume of output with tight deadlines
 - Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with a high level of attention to detail
 - Must have event managment experience, preferrably in the retail sector and a sound knowledge of placemaking
 - Experience in setting and implementing marketing strategies
