Group Account Director - Dynamic client portfolio
You'll work alongside the Leadership team to ensure the consistent delivery of operational excellence across all projects.
In this role, you'll be able to lead and identify opportunities to drive growth and will be a trusted advisor and partner to your client. You'll also be instrumental for the revenue and profitability of the account.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the account management team working on the client portfolio
- Manage the agency resources to solve client challenges and respond to specific briefs.
- Strong relationship skills to build and foster a trusting client partnership
- Develop a solid internal working relationship across Strategy, Creative & Production teams
- Establish revenue goals in line with agency benchmarks.
- Lead the partnership with all external teams who work on the client’s business including media, research, and PR.
- Perform a strong leadership role within the agency in conjunction with Executive Leadership.
Key Requirements/Skills
- Proven experience in a large creative agency or senior client-side role.
- Experience leading a team with at least 4-5 direct reports.
- Significant experience leading large-scale projects.
- Experience mobilising large teams to deliver big projects through the line.
- Impeccable presentation and organisational skills.
- Ability to build strong client partnerships at the highest levels.
- Ability to articulate the task with clarity and inspire the creative teams.
- Very strong creative eye. Knows how to spot an idea that is on brief and on strategy.
- Ability to zoom out and see the big picture and zoom in on the finest details.
- Excellent problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work in and adapt to highly regulated categories.
- Very strong financial acumen.
