New Business Director - Content Agency

We're looking for a New Business Director to join a growing creative agency based in Surry Hills. These guys work with some incredible brands across the travel, government, corporate and NFP sectors.

They support their clients with strategy, ideation, and production of content. They create meaningful stories with engagement and purpose at their core, with a strong focus on Diversity and Inclusion.

This role will drive growth across the existing portfolio and beyond into new clients, and categories. The agency is humanistic in its approach. They have built a culture on trust and transparency, and they offer flexible working to their team (reduced hours or part time).

Responsibilities

• Identifying, qualifying and setting up meetings with prospective clients
• Devising strategies for driving sales growth across the business
• Working closely with the team to generate new business from within existing accounts
• Identifying opportunities as a result of market/industry changes
• Forming strategic alliances with other organisations to leverage diverse networks
• Working with the marketing team to develop content and tools to support new business development

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a senior business development role for a similar organisation (creative or content agency)
• Proven track record of generating new business in excess of $1M and achieving revenue growth
• A strong network of prospective clients within Australia/beyond
• Ambitious and target focused with a drive to succeed
• And understanding of content and or/film production would be helpful
