THE COMPANY:

Our client is a not for profit organistaion that protects the welfare of animals and they are looking for a Digital Officer to join their team on a contractual basis!

THE ROLE:

Reponsible for the development, planning and implementation of the online fundraising and online marketing strategy to achieve revenue and lead generation targets. The main accountabilities include:

  • Initiate and implement online fundraising campaigns to meet and/or exceed the annual budget
  • Execute online acquisition and retention programs to meet and/or exceed annual lead acquisition goals๏‚ท
  • Develop and cultivate new donor targets; generate prospects and engage leads
  • Manage all aspects of online campaigns (e.g. e-appeals, advocacy) from start to finish
  • Oversee the online advertising budget (e.g. SEM, paid social), including the management of monthly spend per channel and scope out areas to increase marketing spend efficiency
  • Develop, implement and maintain a "best practices" SEO strategy in conjunction with marketing and engineering teams ๏‚ท
  • Explore and test new types of online fundraising (e.g. Crowdfunding, Peer-to-peer) to help in lead gen and online donations ๏‚ท
  • Define and oversee the creative development of assets (e.g. ads, videos, animated gifs, content, text etc.)
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign and acquisition success
  • Regularly test new and online opportunities with current and potential partners

YOU:

  • The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing and or Communications and a minimum of 5 years online and fundraising experience
  • You will have experience of raising money online in multiple ways including newsletters, SEM, paid social, crowdfunding & peer to peer
  • A good understanding of online marketing fundamentals (paid, earned, owned) and knowledge of how online marketing channels complement each other
  • The ability to analyse data and an understanding of conversion funnels, attribution models and Google analytics
  • A proven track record of developing email marketing campaigns incluidng strategy, list segmentation, A/B testing etc and experience of using email service providers, CRM and CMS systems is a must
