THE COMPANY:

Our client is a travel company, offering river and ocean cruises to travelers for their chance to experience the wonders of each and every destination, with specifically designed packages to suit their every need. They are looking for a Direct Marketing Programs Manager to help their busy team.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, River Cruising & Land Journeys the main responsibilities include the following:

  • Coordinate, develop and execute effective direct and digital marketing campaigns using data driven insights
  • Produce new direct marketing assets, such as direct mail pieces and eDMs, by working with the globally approved materials
  • Develop product marketing assets and content programs for land journeys portfolios
  • Work with the CRM and Lifecycle Programs team to develop marketing assets for loyalty programs to proactively manage the customer lifecycle to increase leads
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns for the AU/NZ market. Develop, implement and optimise each campaign working with the Global Digital Agency and the AU/NZ Media Agency
  • Develop and implement new content programs such as website pages, destination guides, blogs, digital magazines video platforms and competitions
  • Manage and publish new content and page updates for the AU/NZ websites, social media and community channels. Assist with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Social Optimisation tasks for this new content including meta descriptions, captions, and other website copy
  • Support the development of social media content for the Global and AU/NZ social plan and publish for AU/NZ social channels
  • Community management for AU/NZ social media channels
  • Work closely with the internal and external teams to brief, liaise and inform internal designers and video producers
  • Ensure all customer activities are tracked and measured accordingly to demonstrate ROI

YOU:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years proven experience
  • A working knowledge of Sitecore, social media platforms & of Acoustic or similar email/behavioural marketing platforms
  • Strong knowledge of digital analytics skills using Google Analytics and BI Dashboards
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to produce accurate and insightful sales reports is essential
