Director Marketing & Communications

I'm looking for a Director of Communications & Marketing - a senior generalist marketer confident driving strategy and implementing a multi channel marketing approach. You will be working with an amazing CEO and a small team of marketers who are talented, ambitious and driven to amplifying a really important community message. This is a really pivotal role for the organisation, being responsible for the overarching brand identity and reputation of their member base. Of prime focus is getting the communication on point and to the right audience; to purposely strive to educate and influence all levels of Australian society on the importance of diversity with a focus on gender balance. This education piece is driven through marketing and communications integrated activity.

You'll have a marketing or business related degree but most importantly you will demonstrate hands on experience directing and producing content across traditional media, social media, websites, marketing collateral, speeches and events. As a high profile organisation, delivering a strong public message and supportive influence in the field of diversity, you will have the gravitas and depth in relationship management to deal with a wide scope of partners, members, sponsors and the general public, managing internal and external stakeholder expectations.

A natural collaborator and relationship builder, you will demonstrate agility, the ability to work on a number of diverse, multi faceted projects concurrently, navigating multiple competing priorities. Experience in the not for profit sector or professional services in a senior communications and marketing role will be highly regarded.
