THE COMPANY:

Our client teaches professionals the skills to identify, prevent & de-escalate crises in the workplace. They're looking for a Sales Manager to join their team.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Regional Director, the main responsibilities include the following:

  • Align the sales objectives with the business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting,

  • Responsible for developing and meeting the companyโ€™s annual ANZ sales budget and three-year strategic plan sales targets

  • Be accountable for developing an effective Australian and New Zealand Sales team, including sales job roles and sales resource deployment

  • Meet targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives

  • Develop and nurture new strategic customer relationships whilst effectively managing existing customer accounts

  • Drive increased marketing qualified leads and overall company revenue

  • Establish and govern the sales performance management system

  • Provide leadership to international sales

  • Be accountable for the sales operations. Proactively assess existing operational support

  • Provide managerial leadership to sales operations in meeting this responsibility and work closely to ensure technology initiatives are implemented

  • Identify and monitor competitor activity, threats, and opportunities

  • Identify potential acquisition targets that enable the strategic growth ambitions of the company

YOU:

  • The ideal candidates will have a degree or professional equivalent qualification and at least 6+yrs experience in sales management

  • You will have previous experience of meeting objectives for sales, profits, volume, product mix, and other strategic goals

  • The ideal candidate will have sales management skills in cross-functional, cross-location teams

  • You will be a leader who is able to collaborate with and motivate their team

  • Experience in managing business functions and processes (e.g., sales, marketing, training)

  • Knowledge of the financial sales cycle (e.g., investment, payback, ROI) is essential
