Senior Communications Adviser

THE COMPANY:

Our client's vision is to create thriving environments, communities, and economies for the people of New South Wales and they are looking for a Senior Communications Adviser on a contractual basis.

THE ROLE:

Sitting in the internal communications team, this role is looking for a communications professional who will be executing communications campaigns and plans, writing copy that grabs people's attention, and creates copy for digital platforms. The main responsibilities include:

• Translate complex information into clear and simple language
• Create internal communication strategies to enhance experience and perception of agency objectives
• Use a range of digital tools to maximise staff engagement
• Quickly respond to urgent matters and deal with issues with multiple projects

YOU:

• The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in communications or other relevant disciplines
• At least 3 years experience in a communications, PR or related field
• Excellent, digital and writing skills and the ability to develop communications plans and strategies
