Your role will be a wonderful mix of strategic planning, creative thinking, campaign, project & community management, along with performance reporting.

This is an opportunity where you'll focus on helping grow the customer base, maximising ROI and effectiveness across all channels and building a Purpose-led brand with 'edge'.

You will be responsible for planning and managing the effective delivery of omni-channel: strategic initiatives, projects, campaigns and content across the Brand & Marketing discipline, comprising:

  • Purpose led brand
  • Community & Content
  • Omni channel campaigns (big & small)
  • Customer lifecycle communications
  • Affiliates & Partners (esp in AU)
  • Data analytics & Reporting

You'll work in deep collaboration with and manage other disciplines both from within the business (Experience Design, Product and Technology to name only a few) and partners outside the business to achieve great work to schedule.

You'll posses rock solid fiscal skills and both inform forecasting / budgeting and manage initiates effectively to budget that deliver ROI.

Experience:

  • 10 years 'experience in digital marketing within the travel industry (preferred) across campaigns, copywriting, video content production and email communication strategies
  • Strong understanding of strategic marketing programs intended to drive engagement, promote a brand identity and drive new and repeat business
  • Proven ability to run and manage cross-regional campaigns and email calendars respectively
  • Strong copywriting skills across email, website and social advertising channels
  • A keen creative eye and the ability to manage creative from brief to delivery that aligns to a brand with 'edge' and delivers on commercial outcomes
  • Comprehensive understanding of the latest trends in the digital marketing and travel industries
  • Experience managing freelance content, creative and media producers or independent contractors
  • Experienced in project management with a proven ability to coordinate people across several marketing & other departments to achieve successful delivery in line with project timeline
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and commercial reporting skills with a solid understanding of Google Analytics and Digital Advertising channels
  • Strong understanding of Email Marketing best practice, strategy development and market trends
  • Proven understanding of sustainability and business ethics
  • Proven ability to work individually and manage time effectively to achieve or exceed strategic goals
