This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Media Manager to join an innovative socially led agency for an immediate start.
This is a contract role, however for the right applicant this could progress to a permanent opportunity.
The ideal candidate would be digitally driven, content-led with a social first approach. Proven social leadership skills and the ability to demonstrate strong and practical knowledge of social strategy, content strategy and comms strategy are key to this role.
Core Skills and Requirements:-

  • Exceptional client facing experience - ability to develop strong client relationships

  • Digital / social agency background preferred

  • Manage the day-to-day coordination and execution of client social media channels, including but not limited to planning, scheduling, publishing & reporting along with coordinating content creation, copywriting and community management.

  • Ability to provide conceptual input towards social content production

  • Collaborate with external and internal videographers and photographers on social content creation

  • Publish content on behalf of clients and monitor comments and conversations of those posts; providing strategic recommendations based on social listening.

  • Create weekly, monthly, or quarterly social media status reports detailing key insights, channel performance, competitor analysis, and popular content topics.

  • Have a proficient understanding of Paid Social Media, to support proactive recommendations within Organic strategics and enhancing results for clients.

  • Collaborate with PR & Talent to leverage planned initiatives and activities where appropriate.

  • Develop comms plans/frameworks to help guide strategic development

  • Work closely with broader planning, account, and specialist teams to strengthen strategic and creative territories

  • Add value on existing clients and new business based on analysing trends, audits, and overall goals/objectives

  • Partner with peers to ensure that social/digital strategies are core to the overall strategy

  • An understanding of production across all digital mediums is desired
