Our client is one of Australia's leading Independent Cinemas founded over 70 years ago. They operate 27 screens across New South Wales, Queensland and ACT, exhibiting the best in quality cinema and alternative content. They are looking for a Creative Manager to join their busy team.


Reporting to the Head of Group Marketing & Home Entertainment the main responsibilities include the following:

  • Champion the vision and capacities of the creative team and lead the creative development of visual assets
  • Manage the workflow of the design team including: briefing formats and standards, allocating work, detail logs of project completion times etc
  • Manage the workflow of any outsourced 3rd party design or production suppliers
  • Stay up to date with developments in design, printing and editing and provide recommendations to improve the quality and efficiency of production and presentation
  • Manage external projects to ensure they are delivered on time & budget
  • Oversee the development of all marketing, advertising and promotional materials in accordance with international guidelines and policies
  • Liaise with Operations to ensure the correct supply of required materials including key art & trailers


  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in scheduling and trafficking work through a busy creative team and tertiary qualifications in Design/Visual Communications
  • Strong ideation and conceptual abilities, and exceptional, diverse design skills across all forms of media
  • Understanding of typography, technical execution, and finished art/pre-press production requirements
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills are a must
