Assistant Marketing Manager

THE COMPANY:

Our client is in automotive services and has 160 sites in Australia and New Zealand. They're looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join their growing team!

THE ROLE:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

• Develop a marketing plan and execute initiatives. Work with external key stakeholders to update the marketing plan where necessary
• Create marketing promotions that increase repeat customer visits, acquire new customers and retain the existing database, this includes looking at the customer journey and ensuring they have a good experience on site
• Analyse customer data and trends to draw insights on customer behaviour
• Develop strategies to support the opening of new locations
• Work with the operations team, landlords and tenants on new marketing initiatives
• Engage with shopping centre stakeholders and in-shopping centre retailers/service providers to develop and action initiatives to promote the business and drive sales
• Work closely with the internal Graphic Designer on all marketing assets and distribute accordingly
• Develop and maintain the website and online presence (social media, product review website etc.)
• Develop and implement affiliate partnerships with organisations that have complementary customer databases for the purpose of acquiring new customers

YOU:

• The ideal candidate will have a degree in marketing and at least 3 - 5 years experience in a marketing role
• Experience of working with the retail sector is preferable
• Good at analysing consumer data and coming up with new consumer initiatives
• Experience of planning and executing traditional and digital marketing activities at a local and national level
• You will need to enjoy working autonomously and have an open mind, be a good communicator and enjoy working with internal and external stakeholders
