Content Creator and Videographer

THE COMPANY:

Our client is Australia's oldest independent girl's school. Their purpose is to develop young women to equip them to make their mark on the world. They are now looking for a Content Creator and Videographer to join their busy team.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the main responsibilities include:

• Produce creative and engaging content across all publications, videos, marketing collateral and digital channels
• Manage all copywriting, editing and proofreading content for all communications and publications
• Write, edit and assist in all publications and eNews
• Look after scheduling workflow and content gathering
• Write and edit digital content in collaboration with the digital marketing coordinator
• Research, plan and write compelling blog articles in collaboration with key members of staff
• Write media releases and look after the media coverage folder
• Create and design aspects of, amongst others, websites, magazines, advertising, invitations, banners for printed and digital platforms as required
• Produce video content, ideally shooting video content

YOU:

• The ideal candidate will have a qualification in communications or journalism and a design qualification with at least 3 years relevant experience
• Excellent copywriting, editing and content creation ability - a natural storyteller, ability to create words and imagery that leave a lasting impression
• Strong proofreading and sub-editing skills
• Familiarity with InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Office and Photoshop
• Good time managment skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
